MORE THAN THESE
This piece is entitled ” More Than These.” As I reflect on what I do with my time and resources, I wonder If I have allowed those things that I had initially intended to enrich my life to define me. Am I more than the last thing I bought, my last vacation, my habits, my hobbies, or have they become distractions that keep me from focusing on what matters most? I concluded that I must be more than these. I must emerge from underneath what is perishable to see the essential. My relationships, my fellow humans, my planet, my faith.
To do more, I must want less and become more.
Humanity demands it
My authentic self, commands it.
